Self-Install Policy (Inside Service Areas)
Customers located within our service areas may choose to self-measure and/or self-install. We are happy to manufacture your order under the following conditions:
Warranty Limited to Manufacturing Defects: When you self-measure or self-install, warranty coverage excludes issues related to sizing, fit, mounting, alignment, or installation damage.
ABC-Verified Projects: When ABC performs the final site measure and installs the product, we guarantee measurements and proper operation under our standard warranty.
Best Practice: If you’re unsure about an opening or mounting surface, talk to us first — early guidance prevents costly mistakes.
Important: Installation can damage a blind if not performed correctly. Contact us before proceeding if you detect any resistance, irregular motion, or mounting difficulty.
18-Month Limited Warranty
We stand behind every product we manufacture and install. If you notice any irregular movement, noise, or tension issue, contact us immediately. Addressing small issues early helps prevent damage and costly repairs.
ABC Blind Solutions Corp. — 18-Month Limited Warranty
This Limited Warranty applies to all products purchased from ABC Blind Solutions Corp., whether through in-home consultation, online orders, or other authorized channels.
ABC Blind Solutions Corp. provides a Limited Warranty for a period of 18 months from the date of installation (or delivery, if installation is not performed by ABC Blind Solutions). This warranty applies to all custom-made products and covers manufacturing defects, malfunctions, and defective parts or materials under normal residential or commercial use.
Assessment and Repairs
Customers must contact ABC Blind Solutions Corp. as soon as a problem is detected. Our team will assess the issue and determine whether it results from a manufacturing defect or from misuse, neglect, or accidental damage. ABC Blind Solutions reserves the exclusive right to decide whether repair, replacement, or other service is appropriate.
Coverage
This warranty covers defects in parts, components, and materials. It also includes motorized components when battery motors are properly recharged and maintained. Failure to recharge regularly or allowing complete discharge may result in damage or loss of programming not covered by this warranty.
Exclusions
- Accidents, stains, scratches, or abuse of the product.
- Damage from pets, insects, or environmental exposure (sun, humidity, salt air, or wind).
- Normal wear and tear, fading, or fabric lot variations.
- Transportation, reinstallation, or labor costs related to servicing.
- Motor damage or programming loss caused by neglected battery charging.
Claim Requirements
To submit a warranty claim, provide the final invoice, signed contract, and make the product available for inspection. Claims related to installation or visible defects must be reported within 48 hours of installation.
Customer Responsibility
Upon installation, customers must verify correct operation and sign the completion agreement, confirming satisfaction.
Limitations
This warranty is non-transferable and limited to the original purchaser. ABC Blind Solutions Corp. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
